I think living should be done with as much passion as one can muster so I fight my natural tendencies to be reserved. Music is a passion for me. Its not reserved. If I can't reach in and pulll something out of myself when I play then I shouldn't be playing

Influences have been the writers and the blues guitarists. Those that push the envelope and give us something new. Dylan, Tom Russell, Guy Clark , Paul Simon, Jackson Browne, Hank Williams, Townes Van Zandt, Albert King, BB, SRV, Otis Redding....hmmm ...endless list. I'll just say that sunrise in the middle of a trout stream with a fly rod is also a big influence. You DO fly fish don't you ??!!
