About Picker Apogee:

Me in a nutshell? Solo fingerstyle instrumental acoustic guitarist. I love to play ragtime but recently started to do my own fingerpicking arrangements of some of my favorite folk/pop/rock tunes. I currently reside in Cleveland, Ohio and have lived in the Northeast Ohio area all my life.

My musical history began when I started as a classically trained violinist around the age of 9. I switched to guitar around age 17, am self-taught and have been playing for nearly 30 years. For the first 20 years though, I was primarily playing electric guitar. It's only in the past few years that I've turned my attention to acoustic and serious fingerpicking.
