About the Players:
LYNNE SINGH: (Vocals, Bodhran)
Lynne's passion is singing, which she’s been doing professionally for over twenty years. She has performed with the Pyrates Royale, a rowdy lot that frequents the Renaissance Festival, and the world-beat folk band Kiva. Lynne also plays the bodhran, or Irish frame drum, and loves to re-write lyrics to songs, making them more her own.
CHELLE FISH: (Fiddle, Viola, 5 String Electric Violin, Vocals)
Our fiddler owns and operates Music by Anthem, where she provides ensembles of musicians for any function or any reason. She plays violin, viola, and various electric fiddles with groups ranging from classical string quartet to latin, jazz, and rock bands, and any other group you can imagine a fiddle in. Her solo recordings include “2 Do Beatles” and "Island Time".
MAC TWANG: (Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar, Bass, Stand Up Bass, Vocals)
Keltish’s token male is a long-time music educator and guitar instructor at the high school and college level. He adds bass and vocals, as well as guitar, to the group. A graduate of West Virginia University, he’s toured with bluegrass recording artist Hickory Wind and appeared with many of the area’s best rock, jazz, and big bands. MELODY KLATSCHER: (Guitar, Tin Whistle, Vocals)
Melody hails from the southern climes, and brings with her much experience through her involvement in folk music in her previous state of Florida. Melody has been a long time Renaissance faire enthusiast and supporter, attending faires all over the United States for over a decade. She has always enjoyed the musical acts at faire, and when the opportunity arose to join Keltish, she didn't hesitate to say, "Yes!".
HARPO CLUTTERBUCK: (SEMI RETIRED - Harp, Melodica, Tin Whistle, Bagpipes)
Harpo plays a variety of instruments and enjoys switching from harp to pennywhistle, small pipes, highland pipes and the melodica. For a day job Harpo is a professional harpist, playing her concert harp at weddings, receptions and parties. When not playing music, Harpo spends much of her time running, biking, swimming, and hiking. She enjoys competing in triathlons, marathons, 50K and 50 mile running races.
