JIMMYT49 DUKES performs his blues music live on electric guitar accompanied by his wife PhyllyT49 Hush.

Their music is heard regularly in Second Life and they are currently working on their first CD together as a group, available upon completion.

They both share their dynamic vocals, which have rocked the world of Second Life. Jimmy's twenty three years of vocal prowess was joined by his wonderful guitar style seven years ago when he taught himself to play. His wife PhyllyT49 shares her love of singing blues for the past thirty-eight years.

Says Jimmy.....

I write my own lyrics and my wife also writes some of her lyrics. Phylly still holds dear to her heart some of the blues greats and will be found honoring these folks by performing their music.

I do all the arrangements on my songs and have also arranged Phylly's songs .

Our focus is primarily written with a blues or our soulful feeling, however, from time to time some songs will rock and roll a bit.

Our deep heartfelt feelings of our personal life experiences are expressed in our songs and we find many folks identify wth us because of this.

The propers typed in text are greatly encouraging that what we are performing is being enjoyed, so we guess it's all good and will continue on the path we are taking.

Phylly writes her music on acoustic guitar and then tunes it over to me for arrangment. My focus is on my sweet electric guitar which I built six years ago, I call it my Red Girl, it was built because I just could not find the sound I was looking for in a store bought guitar.

I have also composed Hard Rock and have completed enough material for an album, at this time however, I have set no date for release in the near future.
